September arrives and the nights draw in.
Summer’s carnival of flowers softly fades away, leaving wise evergreens to bless the land.
Flowers ripen to fruit and adorn the trees with their delicious treats.
Cornfields turn to golden yellow, swishing like waves in the autumn breeze.
Blessed migrant bird friends return from whence they came, leaving the skies to grieve with emptiness.
And so, the autumn rain shall fall, nourishing the land with her tears.
Mother Nature prepares for winter’s sleep, whilst October steers the wheel of the year towards a sacred month.
And oh my…how we shall feast and be merry!
