A Woodland Melody

If you go down to the woods today, some harmony you may find. With dense, luscious grass and a bird symphony, a melody so sublime.

If you go down to the woods today, a magical place you will see.
With raindrops on petals and rustling leaves, there’s no place I’d rather be.

If you go down to the woods today, enchantment will soothe your soul.
With cattle a lowing and wildflower meadows,
You’re sure of a pleasant stroll.

If you go down to the woods today, the trees will all welcome you there.
For the woods offer joy and a place to dwell, let us love them and show that we care.

  1. My greatest gift to initiate this new year is you my dear pagan poet. I am in love, completely enamored and tickled wildly to have discovered you. I welcome you to my world.
